“Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.”
- Shel Silverstein
And another just because:
“Children must be taught how to think, not what to think.”
- Margaret Mead
I would like to thank two blogs from my class for your inspiration throughout my Early Childhood Development class.
FallonGirl Blog: http://cmfeigner.wordpress.com/ and
Little Hands Loving Hard Blog: http://littlehandslovingheart.blogspot.com/
These are two great quotes from two incredible minds! You have just added an extension to my research for the future ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you for all of your contributions to the class this quarter. I have learned a great deal from you and enjoyed discussing topics with you. I want to wish you the best of luck in all that you do and look forward to working with you again.

Your quotes are great. I enjoyed reading your blogs and communicating with you throughout this course. I would like to wish you luck in the future on your program of study.
ReplyDeleteI like the second quote you put up. It is just like "teach them how to fish not give them the fish". That is very true. The thinking process is very important to children. we have let them know the logics and why it is. They should be the one to figure out how to do that. Thankyou for the support, It is nice working with you on this course
